Film producer Veeranala Rama Krishna was arrested by the Jubilee Hills police for illegally possessing two unlicensed guns and 20 bullets.
The police, who raided the producer’s house in Yousufguda, have seized the weapons and taken him into custody.
Rama Krishna’s father was murdered in Kaskoor village of Ponnuru mandal in Guntur district in connection with a land dispute. Police suspect that the producer has purchased the illegal weapons to avenge his father’s murder. They have found that the producer has purchased the guns and the bullets from Agra. (NSS)
