Fight GHMC polls against TRS family rule: Kishen Reddy

BJP Telangana State president G Kishen Reddy today said the TRS gets frenzy to face elections and promising moon to the people by implementing welfare schemes using Central funds. He accused KCR of running a family rule in the new State besides violating Constitutional norms by encouraging defections and removing voters from the list for GHMC elections.

Addressing the media with Union Minister Bandaru Dattatraya, MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and MLC N. Ramchander Rao and others here, Kishen Reddy threw a challenge to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, IT Minister KT Rama Rao for a debate on Central funds without which development was not possible in Telangana. He also faulted the TRS for claiming the schemes as their own by using Rs 1 lakh crore Central funds for roads, housing, welfare and other programs.

Despite TRS conspiracies, the BJP will continue its truck with the Telugu Desam and fight the GHMC elections with Peoples Manifesto by taking suggestions from the public, he said. “We will take on the TRS Government if injustice meted out to the people with regard to housing facility for the poor and implementation of welfare schemes. Through a drive, BJP membership rose to 21 lakh from 4.5 lakh in rural level, he said.

Responding to a query on rival MLA Raja Singh’s comments, Kishan Reddy said the party will take action at appropriate time. Dattatreya said it was unfortunate that the KCR Government tried to criticize the Centre last year. He hoped that the State government will stop making allegations against the BJP and the Centre this year. (NSS)
