Fifty percent of policemen suffer from high BP

Kanpur, September 14: A recent health camp for security personnel of the city has revealed that around half of them suffer from high BP. “During a checkup camp organised yesterday on 200 policemen it was found that 50 per cent of them have high BP, 30 per cent of them suffer from diabetes while 25 per cent are victims of both high BP and diabetes,” Circle officer of Govindnagar Prashant Kumar said. He attributed the diseases mainly to irregular working hours and tremendous work pressure.
