Controversial Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has poked the fire again by angrily lashing out at his detractors in an aggressive online video, in which he aims its content at people who have criticized him.
Balotelli uploaded the video onto his Instagram account on Tuesday, reportedly appearing to aim its content at people who have criticised him since his move to Liverpool, which has thus far proved largely unsuccessful.
In the video, Balotelli looks squarely into the camera and asks if they know him, or if they ever talked to him personally or if they knew what he had been through in his life, The Guardian reported.
He goes on to claim that they just saw him play football on the pitch, so they should just shut up. His speech is captioned with a statement that says it’s for those with an easy judge without knowing ‘s***’ about others, and ends with a ‘Good night’ and ‘ #idowhatiwant-remember!’ tag.
Balotelli’s career at Anfield is yet to gain any momentum although he has not helped by setbacks such as the bout of illness that kept him out of Monday’s win at Swansea. He has scored just one Premier League goal since arriving in August and has also attracted criticism from manager Brendan Rodgers for his work rate, the report added. (ANI)
