Hindu, Muslim and Christian pre-paid call taxi drivers at the airport here celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi, in a show of religious harmony. A police press release said the call taxi drivers installed the Ganesh idol on September 18. After poojas today, they immersed the idol in sea in the presence of 70 call taxi drivers belonging to different relgions. The event served as an example of communal harmony and unity, the release said. Senior IPS Officers K P Shanmuga Rajeswaran participated in the event and conveyed his appreciation to the organisers.
