Media coordinator of APCC Mr. Feroze Khan criticized the banks for not releasing the loans to minorities. He told that it shows the inefficiency of the minister of minorities welfare. If this situation continues, the 15 point formula of the Prime Minister will be defeated. Under this programmes it is the responsibility of the banks to sanction loans to minorities in the light of the guidelines issued by Reserve Bank of India.
Despite clear guidance from RBI, the banks are not releasing the loans amounts continues to minorities. They are not showing my interest in sanctioning loans to Muslims. If this state of affairs, the Congress has to face the wrath of the Muslims. CM is convening a meeting to review the status of loans in respect of farmers, businessmen and the students but the Govt. is not showing any interest to issue concrete orders to banks for sanctioning loans to Muslims and other minorities.
He told that Minorities Minister Mr. Ahmedullah sits in the meetings of the banks as a spectator. He neither protested with the CM nor did he enquire the reason for not releasing the loans. He told that if the bankers had sanctioned loans, the Muslims would have been relieved of the money lenders and they would have started small business.
Bankers have been presenting false figures of loans given to minorities. He requested the CM to look into the matter seriously and do the needful.
