Hyderabad: Congress candidate for Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency, Mr. Feroz Khan assured the voters of Karwan area that if he is elected, he would strive for the eradication of backwardness of their area.
He told the people that if they want progress and welfare, they should vote for a national party, Congress.
He visited Karwan Assembly Constituency and went round Ziaguda, Kulsumpura and Jhira areas.
He told that these areas remained backward due to the negligence of the party which represented for the past 40 years. Local women complained that leaders visit their areas only during election time. Later, they forget their promises.
Some of the local residents got irritated and said that they have decided to support Congress in order to teach a lesson to the traditional leadership.
Feroz Khan assured that his top priority would be to remove backwardness. He blamed that leaders are engaged in fulfilling their vested interests.
If Congress is voted, issues will automatically be resolved. He lamented that during the past 40 years, leadership has grown rich whereas people became poor.
He recalled that Mr. Rahul Gandhi has promised to provide jobs to 22 lakh unemployed youths. Mr. Feroz Khan said that he would change slum areas into developed localities and also eradicate communal evil.
