Feroz Khan expresses views on low polling in Hyderabad, levels serious allegations against MIM

Hyderabad: Congress candidate for Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency told that low polling percentage is the proof of lack of voters’ enthusiasm since they are vexed with no development.

Talking to newsmen after the polling, Mr. Feroz Khan told that Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency recorded around 39% polling which includes only 10% genuine voters.

MIM leadership made use of money and muscle power and resorted to proxy voting through rowdy sheeters and money lenders. They took full advantage of 5.50 lakh bogus voters which were present in the electoral rolls.

Mr. Feroz Khan thanked all the voters who not only encouraged him during his campaign but also prayed for his success.

He also said that a number of representations were made to Election Commission about 5.50 lakh bogus voters but these names were not deleted under some pretext or the other. Feroz Khan applauded the role played by police and election staff. They functioned without any bias.

He alleged that TRS and its ally spent crores of rupees. He said that TRS spent Rs. 50 crore for each Lok Sabha constituency to buy votes. The claim of the local political leaders that they represent the Old City was exposed. Less percentage of voting depicts that there is disappointment among the voters for not doing any developmental work.

Mr. Feroz Khan told that he had thrown an open challenge to MIM leadership for a dialogue on the issues of development and bogus names found in electoral rolls but both these challenges were not accepted. The residents of Old City are irritated that the representatives who claim to be their well-wishers always indulged in enhancing their assets.

Mr. Khan promised that irrespective of the results of elections, he would continue to serve the people of Hyderabad.
