Congress spokesman Feroz Khan expressed concern over another political murder in Nampally assembly constituency during such a short span. According to details Shaikh Hasan wanted to put New Year banner with Feroz Khan’s name when suddenly Habeeb along with his children came there and objected over putting up the banner and injured Shaikh Hasan. Later the same group barged in Abdur Razzaq’s house and murdered him for supporting Feroz Khan.
It is said that the killer gang belonged to local party. Feroz Khan lamented over the attitude of so-called supporter party of Muslims for playing politics over dead bodies.
The murder was said to be conducted before the eyes of victim’s wife Asia Begum and his sister in law Rabia Begum.
Feroz Khan appealed people not to bear further atrocities saying that Muslims are not safe in their leadership. Children are becoming orphans and youth are losing their lives. Killers are living luxurious lives under political patronage. He ironically said while we have such allies we no longer need enemies.
He pledged to weed out such crimes from Nampally constituency with an iron hand if he gains political power.
