Fencing of graveyards demanded during minority grievance cell

The weekly Minority Grievance Cell for for redressal of grievances pertaining to Minority Welfare institutions was held on Monday at Hajj House. Secretary/director Urdu Academy Prof. S A Shukoor and chief executive officer Waqf Board and Executive officer Hajj committee M A Hameed played a significant role in yesterday’s grievance cell.

It is said that most of the complaints received are related to issues concerning Hajj committee. Some representations were made regarding occupation on waqf land, fencing of graveyards and other matters. The weekly grievance cell aims at bringing the officials of all the institutions on a single platform but sadly people fail to avail the opportunity and are showing lackluster response.
