Hyderabad: If the aim is high and aspirations are lofty, a person can scale greater heights and his or her efforts won’t go waste. The two daughters of Hyderabad faced every hindrance to build their careers. These two girls are Ms. Salwa Fatima and Ms. Sania Siddiqui. Both of them belong to Old City of Hyderabad.
Salwa Fatima had dreamt of flying a plane which was fulfilled with the financial assistance of Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily. Govt. of Telangana sanctioned Rs. 35 lakh to Ms. Salwa Fatima for her training in New Zealand and Bahrain.
Ms. Sania Siddiqui also proved that for getting education, she can overcome any hurdles. She is a resident of Fateh Darwaza. Her father, Mohammed Abdus Sajjid Siddiqui has been suffering from paralysis for the past 9 years. Her mother, Ms. Waheeda Siddiqui is a BHMS doctor. Sania Siddiqui has been selected for a one year program under “Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES)”. This program is funded by Bureau of Cultural Affairs of the State Dept. of US.
Ms. Sania Siddiqui passed SSC from St. Marks Boys’ Town, Jahanuma. Her educational expenses, right from 5th standard were borne by Faiz-e-Aam Trust which spent Rs. 98030. The felicitation function to both these girls will be held at Golden Jubilee Hall of Siasat Urdu Daily today at 5 p.m. Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily will preside over the function. Mr. Iftekhar Husain, Secretary, Faiz-e-Aam Trust will be the chief guest.
