A felicitation function was organized by “Fools’ Paradise”, “Bazme-e-Farogh-e-Urdu” of AP and “Aiwan-e-Fankaar” at City College to honour Dr. Ajaz Hussain (Chennai) a prominent Urdu writer and an active member of Punjab Association. Dr. M.Q. Saleem, Vice President of Anjuman-e-Taraqui-e-Urdu presided over the function.
Dr. Ajaz Hussian appreciated the activities of Hyderabad’s writers and poets for the promotion of Urdu language and literature. He further told that this kind of literary atmosphere in Hyderabad is congenial for the development of Urdu. He said that such literary work is essential for the protection of Urdu.
He also told that there are problems everywhere but we must resolve them amicably instead by making them complicated. Dr. M.Q. Saleem is his presidential speech told that Hyderabad is a land of Urdu. Whosoever came here, he became the native of this city. He told that Dagh, Ameer Meeanyi, Jaleel and Fani Ddayuni all of them are resting in this land after their deaths.
