State government has decided to extend the date for online submission of application for fee reimbursement and scholarship scheme upto December 31. This decision has been taken by the government on receipt of complaints regarding difficulty in getting income and caste certificates from Me-Seva centres.
Minority students can now fill online applications forms at Minority Finance Corporation website. Earlier the last date for submission of applications was scheduled on December 15.
After reviewing the problems faced by the students Siasat correspondent called Minority Welfare Minister Syed Mohammed Ahmedullah’s attention towards this and told that it is imperative to extend the date for submitting application. Earlier the certificates issued by E-Seva and respective Mandal office were accepted but this time the Social Welfare Department has put the condition of obtaining certificates from Me-Seva centres only.
