In fear of losing power, BJP rakes up Ram temple issue: Swami Agnivesh

Azamgarh: Passing through the various parts of the country, Samvidhan Samman Yatra reached Sanjarpur village yesterday evening. The residents of the area gave a warm welcome to the founder of the Bandhua Mukti Morcha Swami Agnivesh and other leaders and social workers who participated in the Yatra.

Swami Agnivesh said we have always raised voice against injustice and oppression, be it the anti-Sikh riots of 1984 or any other. Looking at my appearance people consider me a Hindu while my religion is humanity. I condemn every oppression irrespective of religion and community and try to provide justice as far as possible.

During my struggle, I have freed 1,78,000 bonded labour during the past few years. They belonged to various religions. I was even attacked calling me a traitor, but I didn’t deviate from my mission. Swami Agnivesh said the present central government is a failure at all fronts. Seeing that they are about to lose the power, the issue of Ram temple has been raked up once again.

General Secretary Rehai Manch Rajiv Yadav said BJP people have so much disrupted the peace of the country for their political gains that any petty issue takes a communal turn. Now Dalits, minorities and backward classes are being killed in the name of encounter.
