Hyderabad, November 04: A 12-year-old girl alleged that she had been raped by her father for the past two months, police said here.
The victim’s mother approached the police today and complained that the girl, a student of class sixth, was allegedly raped by her father Afsar Khan, a fruit vendor, at their house in Mustafa Nagar, they said.
According to the complainant, she was informed by her daughter that Khan sexually abused her for the past two months and used to threaten her of dire consequences if she ever revealed it to anybody, police inspector at Shivarampally, Uma Maheshwar Rao said on Wednesday night.
“The man has not yet been arrested as further inquiry was on,” the police officer said.
