TRS MP Kavita said that her father Mr. K Chandrasekhar Rao is the real hero for her. Giving an interview to a TV Channel on the occasion of International Women’s Day she recalled her childhood memories with her parents. She said her parents are very patient and she has not seen them in anger. They have never raised their hands on her. Her father has taught her a lot, she said. He persuaded her to read books and encouraged her to do analytical study. ‘Hence my father is a real hero for me’, she reiterated.
She cited setting up of she teams for protection of women and claimed that since she teams have been operated, incidents of crime against women and eve-teasing have dropped considerably. She said government has given priority to women in welfare schemes and to increase their share has decided to give land pattas in the name of women family member.
