Mandi, (Himachal Pradesh) : Harshita, the daughter of Pampore braveheart martyr Havaldar Raj Kumar Rana, today said that she was extremely proud of her father, who led his life with pride and died with honour.
“My father gave his life for the country. He led his life with pride and died with honour. I am very proud of him and sacrifice for the nation,” Harshita told ANI after performing the last rites.
Rana was among the two CRPF jawans, who died while their convoy on patrol on the Srinagar national highway was attacked by the terrorists at Pampore yesterday.
He is survived by his wife, mother and two daughters. (ANI)
