Voicing against ignoring Muslim issues during Congress Legislature Party meeting, Congress MLC Mohammed Farooq Husain opposed the manner in which the meeting was held. Congress Legislature Party meeting was held on Friday to chart out strategy for assembly and council budget session. It was decided to raise voice on various issues; 27 points were included in the agenda.
However Mohammed Farooq Husain strongly protested against not including any issue related to minorities especially Muslims and said that minorities in general and Muslims in particular are confronting with various problems; it is the duty of Congress to voice out their problems in the houses. He told that TRS in its election manifesto had promised 12 percent reservations to Muslim but the same is not implemented so far.
