Welcoming the permission to keep shops open in night during Ramadan and directions to high officials to provide facilities to fasting Muslims, Congress MLC Farooq Husain, demanded 2 kg extra sugar in the month of Ramadan.
He hailed chief minister for issuing directions to the political leaders and high officials after reviewing various problems faced by the Muslims ahead of Ramadan. He told that by giving permission to keep the shops open in the nights, CM has showed compassion towards business class. He thanked CM for issuing directions regarding police arrangements at sensitive areas, controlling power cut and water supply etc.
