Srinagar, August 09: The moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference today sought the intervention of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to help resolve the Kashmir issue.
In a memorandum addressed to OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Hurryat Chairman Mirwaiz Umer Farooq said OIC should convene a session of its contact group on Kashmir.
