Farooq Abdullah calls for continuation of peace process between India & Pak

Srinagar, September 24: Pressing for resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan, Union Minister Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday said it is “imperative” for everlasting peace in the sub-continent.

Identifying the need for the commencement of peace dialogue, that was halted following 26/11, between India and Pakistan, Union Minister for new and renewable energy, Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday aroused a call for the everlasting peace process in the sub-continent.

“We are hopeful that the leadership in India and Pakistan will resume the dialogue process soon to address all the outstanding issues and strengthening the bond of friendship.”

Addressing the party workers in Srinagar, ruling National Conference chief Abdullah enlightened the need for the harmonious milieu that can better the bilateral relations between the two nations in many aspects.

“Friendship between India and Pakistan is imperative for everlasting peace in the sub-continent in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular”.

He as well pronounced the call for the leadership of both the countries to leave behind their animosity and to restart the dialogue process.
