The Telangana Government on Friday issued orders to pay ex-gratia to families of 55 farmers of Medak district who committed suicide.
The government has reimbursed an amount of Rs 81.85 lakh to the Medak Collection from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Each of the 55 families would be paid ex-gratia of Rs.1 lakh, besides loan settlement up to a ceiling of Rs.50,000/- as one time settlement to the creditors. (INN)
