BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy lashed out at the TRS Government saying that it neglected the farmers after coming to the power.
Speaking to media persons, the BJP leader said that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was claiming that his party has ushered in golden days for the agri-sector which, Nagam claimed, was contrary to the ground realities. He alleged that the farmers were suffering due to successive drought like conditions throughout the state and the TRS government on the other hand had not waived the farm loans as promised till now. Maize crop has dried due to lack of irrigation, the BJP leader claimed.
Nagam questioned as to how would the farmers get benefit if the Kalwakurthy water was released for the farmers of only one side.(INN)
