Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has said the farmers were losing heavily due to lack of awareness about farm practices on time.
Inaugurating a seminar on ‘Food-360’ organized by FICCI here on Monday, the Governor said that seminars of this kind should be organized at field level in order to create awareness on technology among the farmers. He expressed concern over the increasing need of food grains due to lack of storage facilities. “The problem will continue to prevail if the government failed to solve this issue once and for all”, he lamented.
