Appealing to the TRS government to introduce less expensive ‘Comprehensive Agriculture Policy’, Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram has lamented that the kin of farmers, ended their lives, were not even getting 10 per cent the ex gratia.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Sunday, Prof. Kodandaram suggested that the State government provide economic security to the farmers and minimum support price for their crops. He also said 90 percent of small and micro farmers were committing suicides in the Telangana State. (NSS)
