Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today asked the farmers to take a decision through a village meeting on using of 24 hour power to crops. Participating in some development works at Vardhannapet in Warangal district along with Minister T Nageshwar Rao, E Dayakar Rao and others he said that the farmers can use power depending on requirements.
If they need less power they can reduce and make a resolution through a village level meeting he said. The resolutions should be given to the MLAs to take a decision only on the required power supply against 24 hours the minister said. Harish Rao promised to offer irrigation waters to 50000 acres in Vardhannapet segment. He claimed that Kaleshwaram project will be completed in just one year against routine course of 10 years as Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is determined. (NSS)
