Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy today said that the plan of the government is to ensure that the farmers can decide remunerative price for the farm produce by coordinate committees.
Addressing a farmers program at Nalgonda, he said that the government is for providing crop investment to the farmers through these committees. The opposition congress is making useless comments on the scheme that only farmers attached to TRS will benefit. It is totally wrong to make such comments he fumed. The opposition is trying to find fault with some wrong ideas the minister said. We have conducted similar committees at various places including Devarakonda.
“At least now, the Congress and other political parties should stop misguiding the farmers and people on welfare schemes and development programs”, Jagadish Reddy said. He listed various schemes for the poor, farmers and other sections in the society.
In the meeting, ZP Chairman Balu Naik expressed displeasure at MLA Ravindra Naik for taking unilateral decisions on rythu coordination committees. When Balu Naik complained about Ravindra Naik, Jagadish Reddy said he would apprise the Chief Minister of the issue. (NSS)
