Energy Minister Jagadish Reddy on Saturday expressed confidence that the Telangana Government would be able to supply nine hour of power to the agriculture sector from March next year.
Speaking to media persons after inaugurating the Sub-Stations at Balkonda, Mortad and Bhimgal in Nizamabad district here, the minister claimed that the State Government has successfully overcome the energy crisis and was able to reduce the power cuts. Stating that presently nearly 25,000 MW energy was being produced in the State, he assured that Telangana would become a power surplus State in the next three years. (INN)
