Fardeen Khan gift a pooch for wife Natasha’s family

Mumbai, June 17: Fardeen Khan may be busy shooting in Goa for All The Best but that does not stop the animal lover in finding the desired pup for his father-in-law Mayur Madhvani, who resides in Uganda.

It is learnt that Natasha’s dad recently acquired an American cocker spaniel and desired another as a companion for their pet pooch. When Fardeen heard about it, he and wife Natasha decided to gift a pooch of the same breed to them.

Says the actor, “Any animal lover will understand the joys of gifting a pet. Natasha zeroed on a few
cocker spaniels at out farmhouse in Bangalore and e-mailed me their pictures. I helped her finally decide which one to choose.”

The pup has now been flown to their home at Juhu. “Natasha and her sister Tanya have named the cocker spaniel Cleo, after the Egyptian queen Cleopatra no less!” he says. “But right now, as the pup is too young just a few months old t will remain with us for a while before it goes off to Uganda. It is a long flight from Mumbai and we don’t want to take any chances.”

As reported, the actor lost Tiger his pooch of 15 years recently. “I have four more pets at home; so they’re quite a handful. And as any dog lover would know, they are like kids who really keep us very busy. And now there is also Cleo for a while,” concludes Khan.
