The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Industries president B.V. Ramarao has criticized the State government and the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy saying they have no sincerity and lacked minimum awareness in implementation of the Industrial policy in the state.
Speaking to media persons here on Tuesday, he said that the State government was ignoring the welfare of the industry, which was providing employment to lakhs of workers. He found fault with the state government for imposing 15 days power cuts to industries in a month. He urged the government to scrap the MD charges on power supply, and revive the subsidies on diesel.
He threatened that if the government failed to ensure regular power supply to the industries, they would launch fast-unto-death in front of Parliament in the New Delhi after April 10. (NSS)
