Fans go berserk for Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’

New Delhi: Amid much anticipation, superstar Rajinikanth’s gangster flick, ‘Kaala’, released on Thursday, with fans eagerly waiting to watch the flick.

In Maharashtra, fans of Rajinikanth queued up in large numbers outside Mumbai’s Carnival Cinemas to see the movie.

A similar situation was observed outside Lido Mall in Bengaluru.

Meanwhile, ‘Thalaiva’ fans in Chennai were seen offering milk to his poster and bursting crackers ahead of the release of the film.

Although a ban was imposed on the release of Kaala in Karnataka, the Supreme Court on Wednesday refused to stay the release of the film.
A vacation bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel and also comprising Justice Ashok Bhushan, stated that it did not find any merit in the application.
The Top Court, while refusing to stay the film, had said, “Everybody is waiting for the film to be released. We don’t want to interfere with its release”.
Directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush, the film also stars Nana Patekar and Huma Qureshi. (ANI)
