Indian fans idolise their favourite Bollywood celebrities and no one can question that fact, but not all fans like to take home the good things that they learn from Bollywood movies. A recent example of the same would be Salman Khan’s fan Talha Mohammed Munaf Ansari, who murdered a man after taking inspiration from Salman Khan’s masala act in Prabhu Deva’s ‘Wanted’.
According to report published in a leading tabloid, Ansari was inspired by a one-liner from Salman’s film and thereby killed and robbed a courier firm employee to honour his commitment of repaying a loan he had taken.
As quoted by the tabloid, “When asked by cops why he resorted to murder, he quoted the line from Khan’s blockbuster ‘Wanted’: ‘Maine jo ek baar commitment kar dee toh phir main apne aap ki bhi nahin sunta’.”
Apparently, so much is his fascination for Salman that Ansari had also met his idol once, on the sets of Salman’s home production Dabangg.
“He is a huge fan of Salman Khan. We recovered a photograph from him in which he is posing with Khan. Even when our team asked him why he killed and robbed Sadarangani, he told them ‘maine jo ek bar commitment kar di toh phir main apne aap ki bhi nahin sunta’,” said a police officer, when asked by the tabloid.(DB)
