Hyderabad, May 10: Three members of a migrant labour family were knocked down by a train while crossing tracks near Lingampally railway station this evening.
According to railway police, a couple, Balaram (35) and Sara (27), hailing from neighbouring Ranga Reddy district, travel to the city daily in a passenger train in search of livelihood at under-construction sites to work as labour.
The couple left to the their native place yesterday and came to the city this evening.
They, along with their son, Dharam Singh (10), got down at the Lingampally railway station from their native place and were crossing tracks when the Gulbarga-Falaknuma passenger hit them. The trio suffered severe injuries and died.
