Jammu and Kashmir: A fake video of Major Prafulla giving instructions to his subordinates even while he was shot with bullets has been going viral on social media.

It is being circulated on social media that the video pertains to Major Prafulla Ambadas Moharkar who was shouting instructions to his unit till his last breath before being killed in the ceasefire violation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Keri sector on Saturday.
In the Pakistani Ceasefire violation along the Line of Control in the Keri sector, Major Moharkar, along with Sepoy Pargat Singh, Lance Naik Gurmail Singh, and Lance Naik Kuldeep Singh were killed, reports say.
This video was also shared by verified page of General VK Singh without mentioning the name of the officer.
Mr.Singh stated on his page that “Young Officers are the strength of Indian army as they lead from front. भारतीय सेना की जाँबाज़ी की अग्रिम पंक्ति हैं हमारे युवा अधिकारी।#JaiHind.
Many people thought that the video pertains to Major Prafulla and was shared by Telangana Today and Siasat Daily websites. But the video has been on Youtube for 7 years and CRPF has posted this video on its verified twitter account in January 2017. The person in the video is identified as Assistant Commandant Satwant Singh.
In a similar instance, when Pakistani army beheaded Indian army soldiers, a fake video of a a Brazilian bank robber’s beheading was made viral claiming that it is Indian soldiers being beheaded.
