Patna, April 26: Fake judicial stamps and stamp papers with a face value of Rs 10 crore, and Rs 13,000 in counterfeit Indian and Nepalese currencies were seized from here, a senior police official said today.
Acting on a tip off, a team headed by Superintendent of Police (City) Shivdeep Lande carried out raids at various places under Jakkanpur and Kadamkuan police station area since last night and seized fake judicial stamps papers and stamps of the face value of Rs 10 crore, SSP Alok Kumar said.
Police seized 10 kg blank papers and a paper cutting machine used for making fake judicial stamps from Kadamkuan police station area and arrested two siblings, Mahesh Chandra Bisnoi and Vishnu Kumar Bisnoi, for possession of these materials, Kumar said.
