A fake certificates racket was busted by the Task Force sleuths and arrested two persons on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested S Kiran Kumar, 33year-old, a native of Nalgonda, and Ch Santhosh, 29year-old, hailing from Malakpet, at Rein Bazar when they came to meet a prospective customer.
Police after that raided Kiran’s house at Malakpet and seized 18 fake SSC, Intermediate, Degree and PG certificates of OU, Kakatiya University, Andhra University and ITI, along with a laptop and a printer.
According to police, Kiran was arrested in the past by the Warangal and Nalgonda district police in a fake certificate fraud. Since the past few months, Kiran had been selling fake certificates.
