Hyderabad, April 08: The sleuths of Task Force on Saturday arrested two persons, who were involved in fake educational certificates. According to police, Mohammed Razeouddin and Raheemuddin have been operating an overseas education consultancy at Malakpet in the city.
“They were facilitating students to go abroad by providing fabricated documents like marks memos, bank statements, job experience certificates and residential proof,” police commissioner AK Khan said in a press release.
They provided customised solutions to their clients by producing fabricated documents as per the students’ requirements. On several occasions they had also supplied marriage certificates. “They would charge Rs 40,000 to 50,000 for providing these fake certificates,” Khan said.
Police seized several fake documents, two computers, two CPUs, one laptop, two printers-cum-scanners, 72 rubber stamps, two cellphones, four landline phones, one pen drive and other incriminating material. Both Razeouddin and Raheemuddin would be handed over to Chaderghat police.
