Hyderabad: Founded in 1983, Faiz-e-Aam Trust is going hand in hand with Siasat Daily in carrying out welfare activities. 4 needy families were given cash and other essential items worth Rs. 1,06,200.
Polio-ridden Tasleem Begum has tailoring and ready made garment experience of 12 years. She was provided dresses worth Rs. 10000 with the help of Equally Able Foundation and provided a sewing machine worth Rs. 5500. Tasleem’s husband earns Rs. 5000 monthly. Faiz-e-Aam Trust has taken the responsibility of her daughter’s education who is studying in 9th class and paid Rs. 16750 as her fee.
Another widow Salma Sultana was given sewing machine costing Rs. 5500. Earlier she was offered tailoring course. The fee Rs. 3000 was paid by Faiz-e-Aam Trust. The Trust also took the responsibility of providing education to her 3 daughters and a son.
Another poor woman Ghousia Begum, who used to beg near Masjid-e-Aliya, was also provided financial assistance. Faiz-e-Aam Trust gave a key-making machine to her son costing Rs. 26500.
Faiz-e-Aam Trust also provided financial assistance to the family of Shaheda Begum R/O Musheerabad, a victim of fire accident due to cylinder blast. Her entire house was gutted in fire but she didn’t receive any aid from the government so far. Her children’s fee was paid and domestic items worth Rs. 2000 was provided to her.
Poor families were provided financial assistance through Siasat Millat Fund.
