Faiz-e-Aam Trust, Helping Hand organize 2nd phase of counseling for SSC passed candidates

Hyderabad: In continuation of the fruitful counseling held for the benefit of students and their parents at Salarjung Hall earlier, another counseling session was organized at Agrasen Hall, Babu Khan Building, Basheer Bagh yesterday evening.

The special feature of this session was that avoiding lengthy speeches, the students and their parents were given an opportunity to contact in person any expert in order to get their doubts clarified.

Mr. Anwar Khan, Mr. M.A. Waheed, Mr. Basheeruddin Farooqui, Prof. Sameen Fatima, Ms. Farheen Fatima, Dr. Maqdoom Mohiuddin and Mr. Rizwan Haider were the expert counselors.

Dr. Shaukat Ali Mirza, Managing Trustee of Helping Hands gave the details of various avenues open for the students after passing SSC. He further told that most of the students unknowingly seek admissions in commerce courses. Later, they realize that the step taken by them was wrong.

He impressed upon the students and their parents that any subject itself is not easy or tough. It is the teacher who makes it easier or tougher. Before selecting any optional subject, the attitude of the students, standard of the college, transport facilities, educational fees of the institution should be considered.

He stressed the students to consult their friends, seniors or teachers about the optional subject they are going to select.

Mr. Iftekhar Husain, Secretary, Faiz-e-Aam Trust thanked the students, parents and experts.
