Hyderabad: The Faize-Aam Trust in collaboration with the Equally Able Foundation (EAF) held an event for the differently abled here at A.C.Guards. The meeting was organized with an aim of informing participants, or those who are disabled, about the opportunities being provided by the trust to start their own business.
EAF Presiden Muhammad Yousuf had taken up the initiative to uplift the differently abled persons. An American citizen of Hyderabad origin, he was polio-affected at the age of two and was unable to walk. Yousuf went to school at the age of 12, and eventually he completed his masters in computer engineering, overcoming odds.
During the meeting, attendees were presented with various items as part of the initiative to help them. A handful of people who were also affected in the floods last year were also provided with relief kits.
