Imran Khan, the would be Prime Minister of Pakistan, decided to become a cricketer at the age of 9. He saw many ups and downs in his career then finally led his team to the World Cup. When his mother died of cancer, he was shocked he decided to build a cancer hospital free treatment of patients, there too he faced many hurdles as he ran out of money to make his dream come true. Then he begged on the streets for funds to run the hospital. Later he decided to become a politician to solve the injustice in Pakistan. The road of politics was also not a bed of roses for him. But in the words of Jemima Goldsmith, his ex-wife, ‘after humiliations, hurdles and sacrifices, he would be Pakistan’s next PM. It’s an incredible lesson in tenacity, belief & refusal to accept defeat.’
