Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy today said the result of Warangal Lok Sabha election was dismal for the party.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Kishan Reddy said they could not turn the “anti-incumbency” factor into votes in their favor. He alleged that the ruling party has resorted to misuse of official machinery for the victory. Stating that the TRS splurged money through thrift schemes to woo the voters in Warangal, Kishan Reddy said they could not convince the electorate to teach a lesson to the ruling party in the State. He also predicted that the downfall of the TRS with the ensuing elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal elections. He also alleged that the TRS was conspiring to make MIM candidate as Mayor after the elections. (NSS)
