Fadnavis flays Praja Kumati, TRS

Hyderabad: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has alleged today that Telangana Chief Minister KCR is obstructing the flow of Central funds to the State.

Addressing a public meeting at Vemulawada in Sircilla district, in support of the BJP candidates, Fadnavis said that TDP, TRS and Congress are private limited parties. He claimed that the three States formed during BJP regime were developed, while Telangana state, formed during Congress rule, has not developed. He alleged the TRS has failed to fulfill the promises made during the last general elections.

Pointing out that Telangana got Independence only on September 17, 1948, while the rest of India got freedom on August 15, 1947, Fadnavis questioned why the TRS Government was not celebrating September 17 as Liberation Day. He said that the Praja kutami and TRS parties were working only for power, adding that the BJP would work for the welfare of the poor.
