Factory owner stabbed to death by workers for objecting to drugs

Thane: A factory owner in Maharashtra’s Thane district was hacked to death by his four workers when he asked them not to consume drugs on his premises.

According to reports, the jeans factory owner Dileep Vinod Marwadi (25) caught four workers smoking Ganja in his premises and objected to it, News18 reports.

Furious over this, the accused barged into the factory on Tuesday night and allegedly stabbed him to death using a pair of scissors.

The neighbours who heard Marwadi’s screams rushed to his help and caught the four accused, however, Marwadi could not be saved.

The Police registered a case against the accused under Indian Penal Code Section 302 (murder).
