New Delhi : Social networking giant Facebook has redesigned its popular Messenger app.
The move comes in a bid to make sure that several people can use the messenger on the same smartphone without renouncing their privacy.
The redesigned app will be available only on devices running on Android.
“We don’t comment on rumour or speculation. That said, our aim with Messenger is to create a high quality, engaging experience for 800 million people around the world, and that includes ensuring people do not experience unwanted messages of any type, the California based company told the TechCrunch.
The update announced is also expected to be available on Apple Inc.’s iPhone and iPad later this year, however the company has not officially announced yet. (ANI)
