All eyes on London as Zardari arrives for medical check-up

London: Former Pakistan president and PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in London on a routine visit during which he is expected to get his medical check-up done.

The British capital always becomes the centre of Pakistan’s politics whenever Zardari makes a visit.

Sources revealed that Zardari, who is likely to stay for two weeks or more, has called some important and central leaders of the party from Pakistan.

PPP sources said that it is a routine visit and the former president will get his medical check-up done in London.

It was earlier announced that Zardari will hold a press conference in Washington to clear the controversy over his statement on Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif, but a political bomb shell exploded in Karachi by MQM defector and former mayor of the metropolitan city Mustafa Kamal against Altaf Hussain, The Nation reports.
