Hyderabad, March 10: As many as 125 special buses in addition to the existing regular route buses will be operated in the twin cities for the convenience of students attending the Intermediate Public Exams from March 10 to 30 between 8 am and 11 am and 2 pm to 5 pm.
The special buses, to be run by the APSRTC Greater Hyderabad zone, have been scheduled to reach the examination centres half an hour before the commencement of the test so as to avoid any delays and inconvenience to students.
The buses, with a destination board as `Intermediate Special’ on the left windscreen in addition to the route destination board, will cover all the examination centres in the twin cities and also Rangareddy district areas.
Additional buses will be deployed to operate these services without any cancellations, particularly during the examination timings.
Supervisors will be posted at important traffic points to monitor the special buses. Checking officials and depot managers will be moving on the route extensively to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to students during the examinations.
The buses will be operated from Afzalgunj, Secunderabad, Bahadarpura, Santoshnagar, Mehidipatnam, Shamshabad, Dilsukhnagar, Koti, Hayathnagar, Manchal, Ibrahimpatnam, Uppal, Kukatpally, ECIL X Roads, Nampally, BHEL, Charminar, Rajendranagar, ESI, Barkas, Ghatkesar, Jeedimetla, Kompally, Medchal etc.
