Extortionists lynched in Bihar

Motihari (Bihar), April 27: Two alleged extortionists were beaten to death today by a mob at Dumariaghat in Bihar’s East Champaran district.

“Residents caught Pankaj Singh and Raju Singh while they were demanding money from a doctor at Puraina village and beat them with sticks, killing the duo on the spot,” SP Ganesh Kumar said.

A carbine and two magazines were recovered from the dead bodies, he said.

“The duo, who happened to be siblings, were wanted in several cases of murder and abduction,” he said.
