Exporter forcing his wife into group sex

New Delhi, June 18: This case would surely bring shame to the institution of marriage and its sanctity.

The Surat Police have arrested a South Delhi- based exporter for allegedly forcing his wife into group sex for the past four years.

Kuldeepak Arora was arrested from the Indira Gandhi International Airport ( IGIA) in Delhi a fortnight ago after a lookout notice was issued against him by the Surat Police.

Arora’s wife — who was allegedly forced to have sex with his brothers and a business partner — lodged an FIR against him at the Kamrej police station in her hometown Surat in April this year.

She named Arora’s younger and elder brother along with his business partner.

Last week, Arora was brought before a Surat court, which remanded him in nine days’ police custody. The police remand will expire on Friday.

Arora had moved a bail application, which had come up for hearing on Thursday. But the decision on it was postponed till Friday.

The public prosecutor, Nayan Sukrawala, said they had charged Arora with dowry harassment, rape, attempt to murder and unnatural sex.

“ They tried to drown her when they had gone on a vacation on a beach some years ago,” Sukrawala claimed.

He said they had evidence in the form of letters the victim had written to her mother before filing the complaint.

Sukrawala said the victim revealed her ordeals in the letters, but refused to share any more details as the matter was sub judice.

A police inspector at the Kamrej police station, S. K. Wala — who is also the investigating officer of the case — said they were hunting for Arora’s brothers — Kulbushan and Dharmendra — their wives and the business partner, who have also been named in the FIR. came to the Capital and informed the Delhi Police about the Arora family that was absconding from its East of Kailash residence.

“ We are also looking for Arora’s parents apart from other accused,” Wala said.

Wala said that Arora had businesses spread across New Delhi, Mumbai and Hong Kong. “ Our teams are investigating in Mumbai and Delhi,” he said.

The police inspector said the Aroras run a big business house and the main accused also has interests in the music industry.

Wala claimed that while the police have enough evidence regarding the orgies, they were still investigating the case.

The woman had also reportedly suffered a miscarriage because of the ordeal. She said she had kept quiet for the past four years because she was afraid, Wala said.

Defence lawyer Kirit Panwala refrained from commenting on the matter, saying the case was sub judice.
