Ankara, May 17: Turkey’s labor minister says an explosion at a coal mine in northern Turkey has trapped around 25 workers underground.
Labor Minister Omer Dincer says rescue workers are trying to reach the trapped workers.
The blast took place Monday at the Karadon mine near the Black Sea port town of Zonguldak. Engineer Husnu Unal says eight workers have already been rescued.
There is no word on the cause of the blast.
